Back in 1993, a series of strange happenings occurred. Happenings that to this day no one can, or will, explain. Children were disappearing from their beds late at night. Not just one or two, or even five, but dozens. Mostly preschoolers and kindergarteners, but some first and second graders had gone missing as well.  There were no leads, no suspects, and everyone felt scared out of their minds. Once there was a haughty, petty woman and her bland husband, and they had three children. The first was a boy who was distant by nature and tended to look down his nose at others, but was intelligent to a degree. The third was a girl who was so pretty and girlish that she stole everyone's heart. But in reality, she was manipulative and as appetizing as a sweet poison. The second, middle child was also a girl, but she was not gifted as her brother or beautiful as her sister. What she did have was an unusual charm that went ignored by our culture. Ah, yes. Mary Sue. How many times have you heard that flung around needlessly? I'm sure it's been one too many times. I have read stories that had characters I didn't like, but in no way, shape or form were they Mary Sues. Were they in a relationship/close to one of the canon main characters?
